Sophie graduated from the National Veterinary School of Toulouse (ENVT), France, in 2012.

After one year of specialized internship in the Department of Ophthalmology at the ENVT she obtained the Certificate of Higher Education (CES) of veterinary ophthalmology and then worked for 2 years as clinical practitioner in the same Department. She decided to pursue her passion for Ophthalmology by enrolling into the DESVO (Diplome d’Etudes Spécialisées Vétérinaires en Ophtalmologie) residency program in 2015 and passed her exam in 2018

In 2018 she stepped away to private practice in CHV Aquivet, Bordeaux, France where she worked as an ophthalmologist in referral practice until 2020.

In 2021 she created “OphtoVet Mediterranée”, an Ophthalmology Department, in South of France and works in referral practice there since then

Sophie is a member of the SFEROV (French society of studies and research in Ophthalmology) since 2018. She is also strongly involved in veterinary continuing education and regularly takes part as a speaker or instructor in different conferences and courses
