Dr. Attilio Rocchi studied Veterinary Medicine at Pisa University in Italy, where he achieved the title of Dr. med.vet in 1999. He first moved to Kenya where he worked as Assistant Manager at Marula dairy farm. Back to Europe at the end of 2000, he worked in different small animal clinics and hospital in Italy, where he discovered and cultivated his passion for veterinary anaesthesia and emergency medicine. In 2006, he moved to Austria to become a Resident of the European Colllege of Veterinray Anaesthesia and Analgesia (ECVAA) at the University of Veterinary Medicine of Vienna, Austria (Vetmeduni). After completing the program in 2010, he worked as Lecturer and Senior Anaesthetist for 2 years at the Universidad Alfonso X el Sabio in Madrid. After covering a Locum for 6 months at the Vetsuisse-Fakultät in Zürick, Dr. Rocchi moved back to the Vetmeduni in April 2013. Since 2014 he is an ECVAA Diplomate. To the present days, he works as Senior Lecturer and Clinician at the Clinical Department fort Anaesthesia and perioperative Intensive Medicine at the Vetmeduni. Dr. Rocchi dedicates his free time to his family and his 2 kids, and to his interest for graphic arts, including computer graphic and tattooing.
