Dr. Jens Ruhnau

After some years in small animal GP with increasingly focus on dentistry, Jens Ruhnau started in 1999 as self employed full time mobile veterinary dental consultant, visiting numerous clinics and hospitals in Denmark and southern part of Sweden.

He passed the entry exam to become a diplomate of the European Veterinary Dental College in 2004 and was awarded the Danish Veterinary Specialist title in 2005. In 2007 he opened the veterinary dental referral clinic TandDyreklinikken near Copenhagen.

In 2018, TandDyreklinikken also opened an Education Center, that offers many post-graduate courses in the field of veterinary dentistry.

Jens has been teaching veterinary dentistry to vetenarians and nurses in most parts of the world since 1997. He is the author of many articles (a.o. Dental Implant Replacement of the Mandibular First Molar Tooth in a Dog, JoVD 2003 and A Trans-Orbital Projection for Radiological Evaluation of the Maxillary First Molar Tooth in Dogs, JoVD 2023).

His professional focus is on passing on practical skills in veterinary dentistry to small animal practitionners for the benefit of pet welfare.
