Tim Scase BSc BVM&S PhD MRCVS Dip.ACVP.

Tim graduated from R(D)SVS having taken an intercalated honours in pathological sciences, and has a PhD from the University of Cambridge. He undertook a residency in anatomic pathology at the University of Florida and a fellowship at the Animal Medical Center in New York. On return to the UK, he was a senior Pathologist at Animal Health Trust and subsequently Senior Lecturer in Veterinary Pathology at the University of Cambridge. Tim co-founded Bridge Pathology, providing histopathology and immunohistochemical services to primary care and referral practitioners. Bridge Pathology was acquired by Synlab in 2017 and since then Tim has been working as a consultant pathologist for a number of labs in the UK and Europe. Recently Tim co-founded Pathologica Ltd, an AI startup that is working to revolutionise the analysis of clinical pathology data.
Tim has been a frequent invited speaker at national and international veterinary conferences and has more than 80 published research papers. collaborating on research projects with basic scientists and clinicians both within the UK and worldwide.
